The Oklahoma City Thunder are flirting with the chance to return to the NBA Finals after winning Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals versus the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday.

The Thunder were in control for the majority of the game, stymying the comeback attempts of the Spurs with timely buckets from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jared McCain, Alex Caruso, and Isaiah Hartenstein in the second half.

Lu Dort, meanwhile, grabbed attention for his light-hearted interaction with Tony Brothers in the third quarter. Brothers called a foul on Dort with 6.7 seconds remaining, leading to the viral moment.

Fans immediately roasted the Dort and the Thunder, further stoking the claim that the referees are favoring the defending champions.

The picture was hilariously compared by Art But Make it Sports to a classical painting by Eugene de Blaas called “Flirtation” in 1894.

Fans thoroughly enjoyed the uncanny resemblance pointed out by the popular page.

“My god! Haha! Best work yet!” said @ian_retz.

“This is a Hall of Fame one. Top four, easily,” added @monsterzr0.

“Okay, this one is in your pantheon of greats. Wow,” declared @TJ_Os23.

“HE NEVER MISSES,” exclaimed @ManuelInangLaya.

“This one had me spit my drink out,” shared @Curley_Synergy.

“This is one for the history books,” commented @KendalShell.

Now, who said art appreciation is dead?

Dort had seven points and four rebounds in 18 minutes in Game 5.

Had de Blass chosen basketball over art, he would have definitely played in the paint.

With the lame joke out of the way, the referees for Game 6 have yet to be announced by the NBA.
