Livvy Dunne caught dropping F-bombs after Paul Skenes gives up lead-off HR

The Pittsburgh Pirates lost again to the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday, even though Paul Skenes was on the hill. Skenes gave up a home run to start the game, to Blue Jays slugger George Springer. A powerful moment was then caught on video, as Skenes’ girlfriend Livvy Dunne was seen dropping the F-word after the homer.

The broadcasters commented on Dunne’s viral moment.

“She is not just sitting around and looking around. She is into the game. Emotional and occasionally profane. But she is invested in the successes and rare failures of her Cy Young award winning boyfriend Paul Skenes,” the commentators said, per SportsNet.

Things didn’t get better for the Pirates ace after he allowed that home run. Skenes got battered on Saturday, in a 5-2 Pirates loss to Toronto.

“Skenes (6-4), the reigning NL Cy Young Award winner, allowed four runs, one walk and a career-high nine hits in five-plus innings with two strikeouts, just his second time with fewer than five this season. His ERA rose to 3.00,” ESPN reported.

The Pirates are on a skid after showing a lot of promise to open the season. Pittsburgh is now just 26-26 on the campaign, and last in the National League Central.

Skenes has struggled in his last two starts, which were losses to the Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies. He had been on a surge before that. The Pirates ace also had a disastrous start on Opening Day, in a loss to the New York Mets.

The Pirates need Skenes to dominate on the mound. Pittsburgh is having problems with their bullpen, as well as the back part of their rotation. Pirates slugger Ryan O’Hearn is also on the injured list, which is a huge blow to the offense.

Pittsburgh looks to pick up a win when they play the Blue Jays again on Sunday afternoon.
