Lightning’s Gage Goncalves OT heroics force Game 7 vs. Habs
The Tampa Bay Lightning needed a win in Game 6 to keep their season alive. They had to defeat the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre to live for one more game. Luckily, they got the win they needed, and have forced a Game 7 against the Habs.
The game only featured one goal. But it was one of the hardest-fought goals any team has scored in a while. Forward Gage Goncalves was the overtime hero. He knocked home a rebound past Jakub Dobes to win and force Game 7 back at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida.
