Leaked Austin Reaves video shows NSFW words hurled at referee

The Los Angeles Lakers have only played two games against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but they appear to have had enough of the officiating and some of the whistles that have — or haven’t — been blown.

Los Angeles led by as many as five points, 69-64 with 8:20 remaining in the third quarter, but were outscored 61-38 over the final 20 minutes of the game. After the final buzzer, Austin Reaves, LeBron James and members of the Lakers players were seen speaking with the referees at center-court and having a long exchange with them.

After the game, a video surfaced on social media of an exchange Austin Reaves had with referee John Goble and, let’s just say it wasn’t a very friendly exchange between the two sides.

At the end of the exchange, Reaves could be yelling some NSFW words at Goble as he was walking towards the scorer’s table.

“That’s some bullsh*t for you to talk to me like that,” Reaves was seen saying before adding, “pu**y!”

“That’s some bullsh*t for you to talk to me like that…P*ssy."

Austin Reaves finished Game 2 as the leading scorer with 31 points and six assists for the Lakers on 10-of-16 shooting from the field in 38 minutes of play. LeBron James scored 23 points with six assists for the Lakers, who lost the second game in the series 125-107.

Chet Holmgren followed his 24-point performance in Game 1 with 22 points and nine rebounds on Thursday night. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 22 points with two assists in the game.

The Lakers and Thunder will now travel to Los Angeles for Games 3 and 4. James and Reaves’ club have put up strong efforts against the defending NBA Champions, but simply haven’t been able to play a full, 48-minute game. In order to win without Luka Doncic, the Lakers need to play near-perfect basketball.
