Watch Yankees’ Heliot Ramos hilariously lose his shoe on slide to second base
The New York Yankees did not have the biggest MLB Trade Deadline. The Yankees did bring in Heliot Ramos from the San Francisco Giants and Luis Garcia Jr. from the Washington Nationals.
Garcia hit a home run in his first game with the Yankees on Monday, and now Ramos is making an impact on the offense, while also providing a little comic relief, per Jomboy Media.

Ramos hit a double in the bottom ofthe second inning on a 1-1 sinker. As he rounded second base, his helmet fell off, as often happens. He also lost his shoe, which he put back on after being called safe at second.
It was his first hit as a member of the Yankees for Ramos. He went 0-4 in his first game with the Yankees, against the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night. He also struck out once. Ramos was on his way to starting 0-1 against the Cards again on Tuesday. Andre Pallante took out the first two batters of the bottom of the first before Garcia reached first on an error. Pallante had a 2-2 count against Ramos before picking off Garcia at first base and ending the inning.
Ramos then led off the bottom of the second with a double before Spencer Jones and Jazz Chisholm Jr struck out and Ryan McMahon grounded out to third. It was not the only time Ramos reached base in the game. He reached base in the sixth inning after being hit by a pitch.
The Yankees would end up falling in the game 3-1, losing two of three to the Cardinals in the series. The Yankees are now 64-51 on the year, placing them in second in the AL East and 4.5 games behind the Tampa Bay Rays. They still hold the top wild-card spot in the American League. They begin a weekend series with the Atlanta Braves on Friday night.
