Knicks superfan Ben Stiller rips ‘TOTAL BS’ Karl-Anthony Towns All-NBA snub

While he has previously made three All-NBA Third Teams, New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns was snubbed from the honor this year, and superfan Ben Stiller isn’t happy about it.

Stiller reacted to Kris Pursiainen’s post about KAT’s snub on X, formerly Twitter. The Meet the Parents star called it “TOTAL BS” with six thumbs down emojis.

As Pursiainen pointed out, Towns had a dominant year. He was second in the NBA in rebounds, and he also led the league in double-doubles.

Towns was once again the centerpiece of the Knicks’ offense during the 2025-26 season. He averaged 20.1 points, 11.9 rebounds, and three assists per game. He also played in 75 of the team’s 82 regular season games.

In the playoffs, he has remained consistent. He is averaging 16.8 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game. Granted, he is averaging nearly six fewer minutes per game than in last year’s postseason.

KAT is coming off a well-rounded performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3 of the Knicks’ series against them. He scored 13 points, had eight rebounds, and seven assists. One game earlier, he had 18 points and 13 boards.

Towns joined the Knicks in 2024 after spending the first nine years of his NBA career with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Minnesota drafted him with the first overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft out of Kentucky.

During his time in Minnesota, Towns was a three-time NBA All-Star. He was also named Rookie of the Year for his efforts in 2015. That season, he averaged 18.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and two assists per game and played in all 82 games of the regular season.

In 2024, KAT was traded to the Knicks as part of a three-way trade also involving the Charlotte Hornets. New York reached the Eastern Conference Finals that year, losing to the Indiana Pacers in six games. One year later, they’re back in the Eastern Conference Finals and are up 3-0 on the Cavaliers.
