Knicks’ Mikal Bridges backs post-NBA Finals idea for Timothee Chalamet, Kylie Jenner

New York Knicks forward Mikal Bridges is still drunk—with success.

Bridges won his first title after helping the New York Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs, 4-1, in the NBA Finals. It was the culmination of their hard work, resolve, and togetherness throughout the season, which also saw them win the NBA Cup, also against the Spurs.

The Knicks rejuvenated New York. Even A-list celebrities could not get enough of them. Spike Lee, Ben Stiller, Timothee Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Tracy Morgan, and Fat Joe, among others, supported the team throughout the playoffs, even on the road.

On “The Dan Patrick Show,” Bridges said they should each be given a championship ring by Knicks owner James Dolan.

“I will say yes to everybody,” said Bridges with a chuckle. “Everybody. You can name them all.”

“You’re really generous with your owner’s money,” replied Patrick.

Lee, Stiller, and Chalamet celebrated with the Knicks after Game 5, with the “Dune” actor even getting showered with champagne in the locker room.

Even before they were big-name celebrities, they grew up rooting for the Knicks. Finally seeing the end of the squad’s 53-year title drought was also monumental for them.

As for Bridges, he silenced a lot of critics, who said he should be benched after struggling in the first round against the Atlanta Hawks. He also proved that the Knicks made the right decision in trading away six draft picks to acquire him.

Bridges, who has not missed a game in his entire career, averaged 10.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in the NBA Finals, while playing solid defense against the Spurs’ plethora of wing players.
