New York fans have expressed heartbreak after seeing the Knicks botch a potential game-winning play in their Game 3 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night.

The Knicks struggled for most of the game against Atlanta but still had a chance to win it. However, Jalen Brunson lost control of the ball as he turned it over while Hawks players recovered it, ending any chance of New York taking Game 3.

What’s next for Knicks after Game 3 loss to Hawks

The Knicks are in a tough spot as their backs are against the wall after losing Game 3 to the Hawks.

Four players reached double-digits for New York. OG Anunoby led the team with 29 points, nine rebounds and three blocks. Jalen Brunson had 26 points and four assists, while Karl-Anthony Towns put up 21 points and 17 rebounds.

The Knicks will hope to avoid a 3-1 series deficit by evening it up at two games apiece in Game 4 against the Hawks on the road. The game will take place on April 25 at 6 p.m. ET.
