Justin Gaethje names his price to compete in bare-knuckle fight for Conor McGregor’s BKFC
Justin Gaethje would accept a bare-knuckle fight for the small price of $10million.
‘The Highlight’ is widely regarded as one of the UFC‘s toughest fighters, having defeated Paddy Pimblett in a five-round war to win the interim light crown last time out.

He now faces arguably the toughest test of his career in Ilia Topuria for a chance to unify his belt in the main event of UFC White House on June 14.
Gaethje‘s victory over Pimblett in January made him the oldest fighter in the promotion’s history to win a lightweight title.
Although the 37-year-old is still competing at the highest level, questions about his post-MMA career have strengthened in the past 12 months.
Gaethje: I ‘should’ wrestle after UFC career
Attending BKFC 88 in Denver, Colorado, on Friday night, Gaethje was asked what it would take for him to get in the four-roped ring under the banner of BKFC, which is co-owned by Conor McGregor.
“I think my mum would kill me,” Gaethje responded.
“Honestly, she would kill me. I’m a wrestler! So when all else fails, I should go to wrestling.
“Even though you guys are all going to think and know that’s a f***ing lie!
“10 million [to fight in BKFC], 10 million, yeah.”
Gaethje has been very open about the fact he’s in the final chapter of his illustrious MMA career.
The American has contested 32 pro fights and was on the receiving end of one of the greatest moments in UFC history when Max Holloway knocked him out at UFC 300.

Ahead of his win against Pimblett, Gaethje admitted it would be ‘foolish’ to think he was anywhere other than the end of his journey.
“This is my last chance,” he said.
“And this opportunity to finish my career off the way that I want to is everything that I could ask for.”
Gaethje will now have the opportunity to ride off into the sunset when he meets Topuria at UFC Freedom 250, although ‘The Highlight’ has mentioned he would defend the title as much as possible if he wins.
While a bare-knuckle future is highly unlikely, Gaethje could find himself transitioning back to his roots under the Real American Freestyle (RAF) banner.
RAF, the first unscripted professional wrestling league, has signed a plethora of UFC’s past and present stars to its current roster, including Michael Chandler, Henry Cejudo and Arman Tsarukyan.

Tsarukyan faces MMA veteran Urijah Faber on Sunday night in the co-main event of RAF08, which is headlined by former UFC champion Merab Dvalishvili’s lightweight contest against Cejudo.
