Jordyn Tyson and Max Iheanachor inspiring ASU’s next NFL stars after school’s 25-year first
The New Orleans Saints have signed much more than a gifted wide receiver in Jordyn Tyson.
Pass-catchers taken in the top-10 of the NFL Draft have a strong hit rate and both Carnell Tate, who went No. 4 to the Tennessee Titans, and the new Saints star are being tipped for greatness.

Tyson’s tape leapt off the page with elite route-running and formidable ball skills thanks to his work with Super Bowl-champion WR Hines Ward at Arizona State.
Talent can only get you so far, but thankfully for New Orleans, the word from inside the Sun Devils program is that Tyson is a model pro off the field.
ASU wideout Derek Eusebio was the flier’s roommate and gave a reference Saints fans will be delighted to hear.
“If you’ve heard anything about our school ASU or anything about our team and everything, he pretty much resembles everything about it,” Eusebio told talkSPORT while promoting the upcoming Union Jack Classic in London, England. “He’s super competitive, super hard working. He pretty much flipped his script.
“He came in not like that at all. He pretty much tightened up, straightened his act. He still is always competitive, but he competes in everything.
“He’s a genuine person. He’s always going to tell you how it is. You’re not acting straight — he’s going to tell you, You better start working better because you’re not going to play your best.'”
Who is Jordyn Tyson’s brother?
Tyson’s big brother Jaylon plays in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers, showing that desire and determination runs in the family.
His legacy lives on in the people he inspired at Arizona State after signing a full-guaranteed, four-year contract worth $32.49 million.
“I’ve lived with him for the last year and a half and just seeing how he moves, his process works,” explained Eusebio. “It was definitely cool to see, especially with his big brother. He takes after his big brother, he’s an extremely hard worker for the same.
“Definitely cool to see and definitely taking everything else, he probably doesn’t know, but I was watching every step he took.

“Definitely take all those notes in the back of my mind and seeing how he works. I’ve seen the plan and I’ve seen how it works.
I definitely want to follow it.”
ASU had two first round picks for the first time in 25 years after O-lineman Max Iheanachor went to the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 21.
It was testament to coach Kenny Dillingham‘s hard work and a massive boost for current Sun Devils looking to carve their own paths to the pros.
“It shows he work works,” said Eusebio. “Especially with that group, seeing last year, we went to work for two straight years. So it was a pretty tight-knit group.
“Seeing those guys get rewarded, it was just amazing to see… It’s definitely something we want to get back to. It’s a goal for everybody in the building now.”
ASU takes on Kansas State in a historic game at London’s Wembley Stadium in September — the first Division 1 clash ever to be held in the UK.

Branded the Union Jack Classic, both rosters will have a chance to play across the pond.
It will be useful knowledge in learning how to adjust to international travel while performing at top level, and there is a chance for some cultural experiences too.
