Ivica Zubac sits courtside for Clippers-Warriors play-in months after Pacers trade
There was a familiar face at Intuit Dome on Wednesday as the Los Angeles Clippers hosted the Golden State Warriors in the Play-In Tournament.
Indiana Pacers center Ivica Zubac was in attendance to cheer for his former team. In February, he was traded by the Clippers to the Pacers, along with Kobe Brown, in exchange for Bennedict Mathurin, Isaiah Jackson, and three draft picks.
But clearly, even though the Clippers sent him away, Zubac holds no resentment towards the organization, which gave him his big break.
The 29-year-old Zubac was seen enjoying the game at courtside with his wife, as shared by ClutchPoints’ Tomer Azarly.

Zubac spent eight seasons with the Clippers, averaging 11.4 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks. He helped the team reach the playoffs six times.
He was limited to only five games with the Pacers this season due to a rib injury. He averaged 11.6 points and 7.2 rebounds.
He will be a major fixture for Indiana moving forward, teaming up with Tyrese Haliburton, Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith, Obi Toppin, and whoever they choose in the NBA Draft, where they have a good chance to get the No. 1 pick.
As for the Clippers, they are trying to stay alive in the postseason and extend their late surge. They managed to get the ninth seed despite starting the season with a 6-21 record.
The winner between the Clippers and the Warriors will face the Phoenix Suns for the last ticket to the playoffs.
As of writing, the Clippers are leading the Warriors by a slim margin in the second quarter.
