ITV release statement on furious Jimmy Bullard vs Adam Thomas row on I’m A Celeb
ITV have released a statement following claims that Adam Thomas kicked Jimmy Bullard during a heated clash on I’m A Celebrity… South Africa.
The popular show, which is currently airing, features a host of sports stars including former world boxing champion David Haye and ex-Premier League star Bullard.

Both Haye and Bullard have found themselves at the centre of controversy on the show that was filmed eight months ago, having been accused of bullying Emmerdale star Thomas.
Bullard, who now runs a popular golf channel, clashed with the soap actor during one of the show’s Bushtucker trials despite having been paired together.
During the trial, the stakes were raised so high that the losing team would lose their spot on the show.
Bullard’s exit angered Thomas
Thomas carried out his task only to see Bullard abstain from his challenge by uttering the words, “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.”
Bullard said: “I just don’t have it in me,” knowing that his decision would send Thomas home.
In response, Thomas angrily confronted Bullard, shouting: ‘You’re taking the p***’ and ‘If you wanted to go, go – don’t do it on my f****** watch!’
With Bullard not completing any of the trial, hosts Ant and Dec offered campmates the opportunity to vote on whether they would let Thomas remain on the show with all remaining participants voting in his favour.
But after watching back the footage, Bullard and campmates Haye and ‘80s pop star Sinitta all claim that parts of the row were edited out by ITV with Thomas allegedly calling the ex-footballer a ‘c***’.
Reports are also claiming that Thomas became physical with Bullard and tried to kick his campmate in anger.
ITV has now released a statement denying the report, claiming that they aired an accurate portrayal of the clash.

In a statement given to the Daily Mirror, ITV said: “This is categorically not true. Adam did not try to kick Jimmy.”
The broadcaster also added that whilst Thomas clearly let out his frustration, the kick was aimed at a door and ‘nowhere near’ Bullard – a scene that was aired on the show.
ITV added: “We show an accurate and fair representation of events.”
Following the episode’s airing, Sinitta took to Instagram to give her version of events.
She wrote: “There was a big argument, I can hear c-word, c-word, shouting c-word, you c-word. What on earth is going on?
“Just because he’s called I’m A Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here, doesn’t mean that we should close them out and be really shouting and screaming at him. That’s the game. If you can’t do it then you call that and you’re out.

“Anyway, so I’m trying to stop them – I’m just thinking why isn’t anyone trying to stop them fighting.”
Bullard thanked the pop star for her comments, posting: ”Wow thanks @thesinittaofficial shame that wasn’t shown! My version will be told Friday! Can’t wait to see you all….well some of yous!!” he wrote.
Thomas and Bullard are set to come face to face again on Friday when the finale airs live from London on Friday evening.
Bullard has promised to give his version of events on Friday’s live show.
