Howard, Morehouse lead LinkedIn’s HBCU list

Howard University ranks number one in LinkedIn’s top HBCUs for career success. The list, sponsored by Adobe, was meant to showcase Black colleges that produce successful graduates despite making up just 3% of U.S. colleges. The list features seven private HBCUs and five public institutions. The list also comes after Forbes released their inaugural top HBCU list last week.

Howard and North Carolina A&T ranked high on both LinkedIn and Forbes’ list, with Howard topping the list and North Carolina A&T appearing at number five. North Carolina A&T is also the highest-ranked public HBCU ahead of Florida A&M and Prairie View A&M.

Howard University takes the No. 1 spot again this year — its notable alumni network includes U.S. vice presidents and Supreme Court justices. Morehouse College and Spelman College follow at second and third, while Clark Atlanta University and Prairie View A&M University round out the top 10.”
