Harry Redknapp gets new job away from football amid calls for stunning Tottenham return

Harry Redknapp has been confirmed as a contestant on the second series of I’m A Celebrity All Stars.

The iconic football manager previously starred on the main edition of the reality TV show in 2018 where he was crowned King of the Jungle.

And after reportedly pocketing a mammoth £500,000 for his first stint on the ITV, Redknapp will now make a grand return for another stint in the wilderness.

The former Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham and Portsmouth boss joins 11 other former contestants in a spin-off of the popular ITV series.

His appearance in the upcoming show was confirmed on Monday, with a short teaser being released revealing the line-up.

Redknapp will feature in the second edition of All Stars, after its first series debuted in 2023, presented by regular hosts Ant and Dec.

Filmed in Kruger National Park, South Africa, 2003 runner-up Myleene Klass won the inaugural show, which saw Jordon Banjo finish second and Olympic medal-winning javelin thrower Fatima Whitbread.

Unlike the main version held in Australia, the all-star series was pre-recorded over 15 days, meaning there was no public vote.

And while fans won’t get to watch Redknapp’s exploits on TV in the 2026 edition until April 6, he has already completed his gruesome Bushtucker Trials.

Once again, the All Star version was filmed ahead of time, with the 12 celebrities heading to South Africa in September 2025.

What is the confirmed line up for I’m A Celebrity All Stars?

Redknapp isn’t the only football personality heading into the jungle, with charismatic ex-Wigan and Hull midfielder Jimmy Bullard also taking part, having appeared on the main series in 2014.

There is further sporting representation in the form of former WBA heavyweight boxing champion David Haye.

Completing the quartet of sportspeople on I’m A Celebrity All Stars is four-time Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah, who came fifth in 2020.

Other contestants in the upcoming how include 2016 winner Scarlett Moffatt, actor Adam Thomas as well as former Coronation Street actor and radio DJ Craig Charles.

Charles is joined by another Corrie favourite in Beverley Callard, as well as reality TV star Gemma Collins, Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts, comedian Seann Walsh and singer Sinitta.

Is Harry Redknapp returning to Tottenham?

Redknapp’s upcoming TV appearance may well catch the eye of Tottenham fans, with their former boss recently linked with a spectacular return to the club.

Spurs are currently locked into Premier League relegation battle, after defeat to Crystal Palace left them just a point above the league’s bottom three.

With head coach Igor Tudor struggling to turn the tides since his appointment, this has sparked calls for another change in management.

Redknapp’s name was quickly thrown into the hat, having enjoyed an impressive spell in north London between 2008 and 2012.

And despite not holding a managerial role since 2017, the 79-year-old refused to rule out a stunning return to the dugout.

Asked if he would consider making a comeback on an appearance on talkSPORT Breakfast last week, he replied: “Of course.

“I’d have to, wouldn’t I?

“But it’s not going to happen. I can’t see it happening. I’ll be at Cheltenham on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.”

It’s fair to say Redknapp has his hands full at Cheltenham over the coming days, with his horse Jukebox Man among the favourites to clinch Gold Cup glory on Friday.
