Graphic warning: WWE’s Sol Ruca shares gruesome picture of staples after scary NXT fall

Following her scary fall on WWE NXT, rising Superstar Sol Ruca had to get staples to assist in the recovery process of her injury, and she showed a picture of it on Instagram.

Ruca posted a carousel of images on Instagram. On the penultimate slide, a close-up of the staples on her head is shown. Hopefully, she doesn’t need them in for too long.

It appears Ruca is still in high spirits following the fall. She is now part of the WWE main roster after being called up after WrestleMania 42.

Sol Ruca’s scary fall during WWE NXT farewell match

During the Apr. 21, 2026, edition of NXT, Ruca faced Zaria in her final match in the developmental brand. It was a “Last Woman Standing” match.

They were fighting on top of a tall structure late in the match. Zaria eventually knocked Ruca off the top of it, and she fell to the floor.

There were two tables set up for Ruca to fall on. However, she only went through the nearest one and hit the back of her head on the other.

It was a scary scene, but it put a definitive end to her time in NXT. The night before, Ruca made an appearance on Monday Night RAW, confronting the newly-crowned Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan.

She faced Morgan in a non-title match on RAW. However, she lost, thanks to interference from Zaria. This set up their match the following night on NXT.

Ruca has been with WWE since 2022. During her time in NXT, she won the Women’s Speed Championship and Women’s North American Championship once.

On Jan. 31, 2026, Ruca made her Royal Rumble debut, competing in the annual battle royal in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She lasted over 50 minutes before being eliminated by the runner-up, Tiffany Stratton.
