Giants’ Patrick Ricard does not hold back with blunt warning to visiting teams

That quote alone is exactly what Giants fans desperately want to hear after watching their beloved team stumble to a dismal 4-13 record last season. Under previous coaching regimes, New York frequently found itself on the wrong end of physical matchups. Now, Harbaugh and Ricard are actively aiming to re-establish the gritty, hard-nosed brand of football that once proudly defined the franchise.

Ricard’s imposing presence on the roster guarantees that New York plans to rely heavily on a run-first offense. With an improved offensive line and a coaching staff dedicated to trench warfare, the Giants are building a fresh identity centered around pure toughness. Defensive players already face an uphill battle trying to stop a charging Ricard in the open field.

Opposing teams traveling to MetLife Stadium this fall should definitely pack extra ice bags. If Ricard and Harbaugh have their way, the Giants will absolutely no longer be a punching bag; they will officially become the biggest bullies on the block.
