St Jude Championship 2026 LIVE: Tee times confirmed, 70-man field, leaderboard and prize money

The 2026 FedExCup playoffs get underway at the St Jude Championship in Memphis this week.

The PGA Tour playoffs run for three weeks, with the field being cut by 20 players each week until the season-ending Tour Championship.

World number one Scottie Scheffler is the FedExCup leader heading into the 70-man event at TPC Southwind.

Rory McIlroy, unlike previous years, will be in action in the opening playoff event and is among the star-studded field.

England’s Justin Rose was the St Jude champion last year while other former winners include Bryson DeChambeau, Jason Day and Adam Scott.

The top 50 players in the FedExCup standings following the conclusion of the St Jude will make up the field for next week’s BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club.

Then, that will be cut down again to the top 30 for the 2026 finale at East Lake from August 27.

St Jude Championship: Dates and how to follow

The 2026 St Jude Championship is taking place from Thursday, August 13 to Sunday, August 16.

It is being held at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee – the course is a par 70 and measures 7,288 yards in length.

The action will get underway at 1:10pm UK time each day.

St Jude Championship: Field and tee times

The opening play-off event of the year has a limited field of 70 players – the top 70 in the season-long FedEx Cup standings – but only 69 will tee it up this week as Daniel Berger has withdrawn.

19 of the world’s top 20 players will be in action, including Scheffler and McIlroy, while the last man in the field was Jackson Koivun.

Aaron Rai, Ryan Fox and Wyndham Clark – this summer’s major winners – are all in the field.

Also starring are Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Rose, Robert MacIntyre, Shane Lowry, Viktor Hovland and Ludvig Aberg.

Scheffler and McIlroy will play the opening two days together and will tee off at 2:30pm UK time on Thursday and at 5:30pm on Friday.

This event has a $20million purse with $3.6m going to the champion.

St Jude Championship: What has been said?

Brooks Koepka plans to ‘completely re-evaluate everything’ after ‘pathetically’ missing out on the 2026 playoffs.

Koepka finished a lowly T67 at the Wyndham Championship last Sunday to end up in 94th spot in the FedExCup standings.

He said: “I struck the ball great. It’s just all on the greens. I don’t know what the deal is. Got zero confidence, can’t putt. 

“I don’t know. There’s going to be a lot of changes here soon. Pretty disappointed. I think it’s pretty pathetic that I can’t get through.

“Zero top-10s basically in two years. To be in the prime of my career and be as good as I think I am, I think that’s very pathetic, disappointing.

“I just need to go home and completely re-evaluate everything.”
