Giants’ Jaxson Dart, Brian Burns celebrate Knicks’ stunning Game 1 win with Pete Davidson

Among the celebrities at the New York Knicks’ NBA Finals Game 1 win were Giants teammates Jaxson Dart and Brian Burns, who traveled to San Antonio to watch the game with comic Pete Davidson.

They shared a luxury suite together, and they were all hyped after the Knicks’ thrilling win. The second-year quarterback posted a video on his Instagram Stories of their reactions to the win.

The video was taken as Jalen Brunson scored a mid-range basket and drew a foul, resulting in an and-one. Needless to say, the whole suite was hyped, with Dart exclaiming, “Let’s f*****g go!” Burns and Davidson were equally elated.

Dart, Burns, and Davidson weren’t the only stars at the Knicks game. Several of the franchise’s most famous celebrity fans traveled to San Antonio for the game.

Ben Stiller, Spike Lee, Fat Joe, Tracy Morgan, and Timothée Chalamet were all there. Former Spurs players like Manu Ginóbli and Tim Duncan were also in the building, as was Gregg Popovich. Tori Kelly also sang the National Anthem before tip-off.

For a large part of Game 1, the Knicks appeared on the ropes. The Spurs held a double-digit lead in the third quarter, and Jalen Brunson was being stifled.

However, it’s nearly impossible to keep Brunson down for too long. He ended up scoring a game-high 30 points, making a clutch three-pointer towards the end of the game.

Ultimately, the Knicks were able to pull away late, winning by 10 points. Victor Wembanyama scored 26 points for the Spurs. However, he only made six of his 21 shots. Almost half of his points (12) came from free throws. He also had 12 rebounds.

Game 2 will be played on Friday, June 5. It will once again take place in San Antonio before the series heads to New York for Games 3 and 4.
