Ex-Arsenal star annoyed by ‘shallow’ co-hosts in PSG shirts during heated on air clash
Former Arsenal star Perry Groves blasted Jason Cundy and Gabby Agbonlahor over their support for Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final.
The pair donned PSG shirts and celebrated as Gabriel missed the decisive spot-kick that saw Arsenal agonisingly lose on penalties in Budapest.

The jubilant duo then hosted a talkSPORT GameDay phone-in special with Groves joining them in the studio.
The ex-Gunners man took issue with Cundy and Gabby for their support of the Parisian side on Saturday.
Cundy said: “I don’t want your commiserations. Stick it. Stick your commiserations where the sun don’t shine. I don’t want your hollow whatever.
“You’re pleased. It’s a weird thing, right? I don’t get people taking great pleasure from other people’s misfortunes.
“When I was brought up to want to be successful myself and reach my goals, but if someone else is successful then to be pleased for them.
“The only caveat to that is that mob up the road, Spurs, because if they’d won it in 2019, I’d have emigrated. I’d have gone to Sydney with my boy.
“But other than that, you’d rather a French team beat an English team?”
Cundy and Gabby replied: “100 per cent.”
Groves said: “I don’t get it. It just shows how shallow you both are. If it was Chelsea against a French team I’d want them to win. I want an English team to do well.”
Cundy replied: “Why? I don’t get that argument. I don’t get it. I never will get it. The hate has got to go deep in the heart.”

Groves added: “That’s the thing. I don’t hate. How energy-sapping is that?”
Former Chelsea and Spurs man Cundy also made the argument that he also didn’t want other teams to do well in Europe.
He added: “I didn’t want Villa to win the Europa League because that would put them in the Champions League. I didn’t want that. It’s nothing against Gabby.
“Also, the only side in London to win the Champions League is Chelsea. That’s another big thing.”
Are Arsenal a big club?
The Gunners remain the team with the most games in European Cup and Champions League history to never lift a trophy.
They have played 226 games as their agony to lift the biggest club prize goes on.
Groves said: “I heard you say that you’re not a big club if you haven’t won the Champions League. So you’re saying Nottingham Forest are a bigger club than Arsenal? You’re saying Steaua Bucharest are a bigger club than Arsenal?”
Gabby replied: “Yeah. Red Star Belgrade, PSV, Hamburg, Feyenoord, FC Porto, Marseille. They’ve won the big, big trophies.”
Cundy added: “You’ve got to win it.”
The Gunners are still Premier League champions, lifting their first title in more than two decades this season.
They will parade the trophy to hundreds of thousands of fans in north London on Sunday.
