He exclusively told talkSPORT that he was ‘shocked and gutted’ to miss out with other stars such as Cole Palmer, Phil Foden, Morgan Gibbs-White, Lewis Hall and Adam Wharton set to be left out too.
Meanwhile, Ivan Toney is expected to receive a shock call-up, with Jordan Henderson and Jarrel Quansah likely to be picked.
