Eddie Hearn believes Tyson Fury rejected offer to choose fight with 46-year-old Mariusz Wach
Eddie Hearn has claimed Tyson Fury rejected an offer to face Nelson Hysa in Dublin before choosing Mariusz Wach.
Fury will return for a bizarre warm-up bout against 46-year-old Polish journeyman Wach in Thailand.

The bout will come a day before his rival Anthony Joshua faces Kristian Prenga, when the pair are then expected to proceed to face each other in their signed clash.
It was originally teased that the ‘Gypsy King’ would return in the Irish capital in August, with unbeaten Nelson Hysa in the driving seat.
But they eventually chose Wach, in a clash which won’t be shown to the world on TV until a later date on a Netflix series.
And Joshua’s promoter Hearn, who has no direct involvement with Fury, has his own theory.
He believes the Morecambe giant likely rejected the Dublin fight over the financial aspects of the deal.
Hearn explained: “I think that he probably looked at the money that he was being offered, which he probably thought was an insult knowing Tyson Fury, and went, ‘Right, I’m going to go and fight in Thailand’.
“There’s no TV, right? There’s like 1,500 people in a random stadium in Thailand against a bloke who’s lost eight out of his last 10.
“But it’s true Tyson Fury, maverick, saying, ‘I’m going to do whatever I want.’
“This is more probably for himself to stay in training camp, to stay motivated and fit for that big fight in November.
“I’m not mad at it. It’s just a little bit weird. But it’s only Tyson Fury would do this.”

Fury’s trainer explains why he chose Wach
Wach has been in the ring with the likes of Wladimir Klitschko, Dillian Whyte and Moses Itauma.
But he has not quite ever come close to victory, and is now far beyond his physical prime.
Fury’s trainer Sugar Hill Steward instead believes any fight poses a risk, and the bout was chosen to maintain his activity.
He added: “Pretty much it’s any fight Tyson wants to fight. He wants to stay busy.
“He should have that right to stay busy if it can be made happen. I mean, if it can be made to happen. So yeah, that’s where we are now.
“Jeopardy in every fight. Don’t even go there. There’s always jeopardy. It could be a bad cut. Anything could happen in that fight.
