Donald Trump gushes over Giants’ Jaxson Dart after rally intro with bold Super Bowl prediction

After being introduced by him at a rally, President Donald Trump has become a fan of Jaxson Dart, expecting him to lead the New York Giants to a Super Bowl.

Speaking to Laura Rutledge at the Patriot Games, the president was asked who he was watching as potential Super Bowl contenders. He named the New England Patriots, who made it last year, and the Los Angeles Rams, who are “looking very strong,” but the most notable shoutout was to the Giants.

Trump said he could see the Giants winning a fifth Lombardi Trophy because he is a believer in Dart, emphasizing, “I like their quarterback a lot.”

Earlier in the offseason, Dart made waves after introducing Trump at a rally. His teammate, Abdul Carter, responded to the video of it on social media saying, “Thought this s*** was AI, what we doing man.”

However, he would later clarify that he and his quarterback were “good,” talking out their problems. The Giants also held a meeting about the controversy.

It was evident that Trump is a big fan of Dart. He raved about him in an interview after the rally, saying, “I wish I looked just like Jaxson.”

The Giants have since moved on, and they are looking ahead to their first preseason game on Saturday, Aug. 15, against the Minnesota Vikings. They will then play the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets to close out the preseason.

New York’s regular season starts on Sunday, Sep. 13. The Giants will play the Dallas Cowboys in the first Sunday Night Football game of the year.

After finishing 4-13 in 2025, the Giants are hoping to take a leap in 2026. Dart is heading into his second year and first as the team’s unquestioned starting quarterback.
