De’Aaron Fox out of bounds no-call sets the internet on fire during Thunder-Spurs Game 7

Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs is gaining attention for great reasons. It also went viral for a no-call involving De’Aaron Fox that fans are not happy with.

Going into the game, both teams are even at three games apiece. San Antonio won Games 1, 4 and 6 while Oklahoma City nabbed Games 2, 3 and 5. It’s officially a win or go home scenario for either side, fighting for a spot in the NBA Finals.

Game 7 requires the best performances from the top players while getting quality officiating on both sides. However, the intensity of the contest might lead to some misses, which took place during the first half of the game.

Fox was dribbling the past while Alex Caruso was guarding him on the sideline. The former’s left foot appeared to step out of bounds, but the officials failed to make the call on the error.

How Thunder played against De’Aaron Fox, Spurs

It was quite the call for the referees to miss in Game 7. While the game remains close with the Spurs up 56-53 at halftime, the no call might be one that Thunder fans will have frustration towards if things don’t go their way in the second half.

San Antonio got off to a great start as the team led 32-25 after the first quarter. Oklahoma City responded with a great outing from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who helped his team cut the deficit down to three.

Two players have scored in double-digits for Oklahoma City so far. Gilgeous-Alexander leads the way with 19 points, five assists, four rebounds, and one block. Jared McCain comes next with 10 points, while Jaylin Williams has six points and nine rebounds.

The winner of this game will earn the Western Conference Finals title and advance to the NBA Finals. They take on the East’s New York Knicks as Game 1 commences on June 3 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
