Since that setback, 29-year-old Noakes has boxed once and won once. He stopped Benito Sanchez Garcia inside two rounds at the York Hall, Bethnal Green, in May.

Berinchyk is slightly more experienced than his opponent, but the man from Ukraine hasn’t been anywhere near as active. Denys was last seen in action in February 2025 when he suffered the first loss of his career. 

The 38-year-old fighting out of Kyiv was stopped inside four rounds by Keyshawn Davis at Madison Square Garden Theatre, New York, before a global audience. How much does he have left in the tank?

I fancy Sam Noakes to win on Saturday. Unfortunately, so do the traders working at bet365, and all other major sportsbooks. It’s not often all firms across the UK betting landscape agree, but the biggest names all have Noakes as a short-priced favourite. 

The odds available are on the small side ahead of such a competitive contest. Noakes is in with a tough opponent who has enjoyed a fabulous career, and still has more to offer. Nine KO wins prove Denys shouldn’t be taken lightly, and he has the power to silence the home support packed into the North Greenwich venue.

Is there much value in backing Noakes to win? I don’t think the rewards match the risk. Every £50 staked on Sam pays just a £10 profit if the Englishman delivers. I wouldn’t advise backing the local as a single for a chunky stake. Instead, taking Noakes to win is best suited to your Saturday night boxing accumulators and bet builders.

Why am I confident Noakes will defeat Berinchyk? The Brit has been far busier of late than his opponent. Noakes has featured twice in the last nine months. He has also boxed three times since last May.

In that time, he stopped Patrik Balaz in Nottingham, lost to Addullah Mason in New York, and got back on track with that stoppage win at the home of British boxing in East London.

Berinchyk lost his most recent bout to Davis in February of 2025. That result and an extended period on the sidelines mean the Ukrainian last won a fight in May 2024. That’s certainly something that’ll give Team Noakes encouragement.

That trend is just too strong to ignore, and I don’t expect either warrior to come out all-guns-blazing, looking for an early stoppage.

Switching to the recent record of Noakes, we see the Brit went 12 rounds with Mason when contesting the vacant WBO world lightweight title. He beat Ryan Walsh over the distance in a memorable night at Wembley Arena, with British, Commonwealth, and WBO International prizes on the line. 

A bet on over 8.5 rounds would’ve boosted your betting balance in four of Sam’s last six fights. That’s more than enough to get my attention.

The third and final betting tip I believe is worth considering for your weekend multiples is Noakes vs Berinchyk to go the distance.

It’s important to remember that both men have been 12 rounds many times in the past, providing their fitness over the distance. It’s also worth keeping in mind that Saturday’s fight is scheduled for 10 rounds, suggesting the combatants should have no trouble lasting the pace. 

The fact that Berinchyk hasn’t stopped an opponent since March 2021 suggests we’re looking in the right places.

Yes, Noakes has been beating many of his recent opponents without any help from the scoring judges, but he steps up in class here. I believe this bet rides on how much love the Ukrainian has left for the game. 

That period out of the ring following a high-profile defeat suggests his best days are now behind him, and Denys has accepted that. I may be right, but we won’t find out until the first bell.

Just like the previous prediction, you don’t need to pick the winning fighter when backing the fight to go the distance. As the name suggests, all you’re worried about is these men still being on their feet at the end of the tenth round.
