Danhausen drops cold hype video after Knicks championship win

Last Saturday, Jun. 13, 2026, the Knicks secured this year’s NBA Championship after beating the San Antonio Spurs. In a closely fought 90-94 win, the New York Knicks were crowned this year’s champions after winning the final games by a dominant margin of 4-1.

Surprisingly, WWE Superstar Danhausen had a major role in the entire scenario. On Apr. 28, 2026, Danhausen, after receiving a large sum of “human monies” for a Cameo, uncursed the New York Knicks. This led to a major turnaround in the Knicks’ fortune as they began a winning streak and moved to the NBA Finals. WWE took notice of this streak and connected Danhausen in their journey.

With WWE reportedly planning something big involving Danhausen and Madison Square Garden, they have now dropped a cold hype video for the Knicks’ win. The former AEW star released his latest documentary detailing how he cursed Stephen A. Smith, and the Knicks in the first round, which led to them losing two games against the Atlanta Hawks. However, after Game 3, with the Knicks down 2-1, Danhausen proceeded to uncurse the Knicks, which eventually set everything into motion.

Fightful Select recently reported that there are ongoing discussions regarding content and merch ideas for Danhausen’s upcoming appearance at Fanatics Fest. A WWE source indicated that Danhausen is expected to become a regular presence in the New York area following the Knicks’ victory.
