Conor McGregor wants Katie Taylor to reconsider her retirement
The 40-year-old former soccer player and current Irish boxing legend Katie Taylor recently announced her retirement. However, UFC’s Conor McGregor wants her to reconsider her career decision.
McGregor now desperately wants Taylor back in the ring for at least one more fight. “The Notorious One” is currently recovering from his torn ACL injury. McGregor suffered the setback during his comeback bout against Max Holloway at UFC 329.
McGregor wants Taylor to join him to make history as he enters the final leg of his fighting career. McGregor had previously expressed his wishes of having his final UFC fight in 2027. McGregor recently voiced his request on social media regarding Taylor’s retirement decision. “Katie Taylor, let’s do one more for the Mac. Well done champ!” McGregor wrote while uploading a picture of himself with Taylor.
McGregor is now looking forward to his comeback and final fighting appearance. He dropped a few hints on social media regarding his final fight interests while sharing some clues about the location. Soon after posting his request, McGregor wrote, “Sensational,” while sharing images of Taylor and Ali along with the details of their historic fights at Croke Park. Although McGregor’s intentions were not clear from the single image, online fans inferred that he was planning to have his final fight there.
