Charles Barkley predicts 76ers will beat Knicks in Game 4 with ’embarrassing’ mic drop

The Philadelphia 76ers are in do-or-die mode coming into Game 4 as they’re down 3-0 in the series. It’s been a battle for the 76ers to get a win in the second round, even with them being mostly healthy. The sense of urgency has to be high for the 76ers in Game 4, and in order for them not to have their postseason cut, they’ll have to win this one.

With many doubters out there, one person believes that the 76ers will come out with a win, and it’s Charles Barkley.

“It’s embarassing to get swept, especially at home. I think Philly’s gonna win today… I’m confident,” Barkley said.

The players believe that they can do something special as well, and after Game 3, Tyrese Maxey noted that they have to play with pride if they don’t want to go home on their own court.

“It’s still a great challenge. You gotta go do it. Either you don’t play with any pride, and you get swept on your home floor in the 2nd round of the playoffs, or you play with some pride, you win one game at a time,” Maxey said.

The 76ers played well to start Game 1, but it was the second quarter where the Knicks pulled away.

“They were up the floor in semi-transition and making some good reads and making some shots, obviously. We just didn’t keep the scoreboard moving enough to get our defense set,” Nick Nurse said.

From there, the 76ers were never able to get back on track, and they fell to 0-3 in the series.

The 76ers are going to have to play their best ball now, and they’ll have to take it one game at a time. Luckily for them, they’ve been through adversity already in the playoffs, going down 3-1 against the Boston Celtics, then coming back to win the series.
