Celtics’ Jayson Tatum drops mic on 4th quarter effectiveness vs. 76ers
Jayson Tatum didn’t hold back on his experience in the clutch after leading the Boston Celtics to a huge Game 3 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.
In 42 minutes of action, he delivered a stat line of 25 points, seven assists, four rebounds, and a steal. He shot 9-of-17 from the field, including 5-of-9 from beyond the arc, and 2-of-3 from the free-throw line.
Tatum reflected on his performance after the game on the Amazon Prime broadcast. Making two clutch 3-pointers in the last two minutes, he showed off the experience that allowed him to stand out as one of the best players in those situations.
“I’ve been here before… just give the game what it needs, as long as you win that’s all that matters,” Tatum said.

How Jayson Tatum, Celtics played against 76ers
Jayson Tatum continues to not be afraid of the moment, delivering in the clutch again for the Celtics. As a result, they now hold a 2-1 series lead over the 76ers in the first round.
Perimeter shooting and rebounding made the difference in this matchup. The Celtics prevailed in both categories as they made 20 3-pointers and secured 45 rebounds. It wasn’t the same for the 76ers as they converted 12 triples and grabbed 37 rebounds.
Five players scored in double-digits for Boston in the win, including Tatum. Jaylen Brown came through for his co-star as he produced a stat line of 25 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and a steal. He shot 9-of-16 from the field, including 1-of-2 from beyond the arc, and 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. Payton Pritchard came next with 15 points and four rebounds, Nikola Vucevic put up 11 points and six rebounds, while Derrick White provided 11 points and four rebounds.
The Celtics will look to take a 3-1 series lead when they take on the 76ers on the road in Game 4. The game will take place on April 26 at 7 p.m. ET.
