Ceddanne Rafaela injury update won’t help Red Sox’s chances of catching Yankees
The Boston Red Sox have been trying to catch the New York Yankees in the AL East standings with just a few weeks remaining in the regular season, but it won’t be easy. Now, things are expected to get a little harder with Ceddanne Rafaela being placed on the injury list, according to Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic.
“Red Sox announce they’ve placed Ceddanne Rafaela on the IL retroactive to Sept. 3. Nate Eaton recalled,” McCaffrey wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
