Cavs vs. Raptors 2026 NBA Playoffs Game 6 prediction, odds, pick

The 2026 NBA Playoffs continue with First Round matchups as we bring you a prediction and pick for this upcoming Eastern Conference Game 6 tilt. The Cleveland Cavaliers visit the Toronto Raptors as Cleveland looks to advance leading the series 3-2. Check our NBA Playoffs odds series for the Cavs-Raptors prediction and pick.

Both teams have defended home court throughout this First Round series and after the Raptors managed back-to-back wins in Toronto, Cleveland swung back with a 125-120 win on their home floor in Game 5. This major development in Game 6 will be the availability of Raptors’ Brandon Ingram who exited Game 5 after aggravating his heel. He logged just 11 minutes and scored a single point, a crucial blow to Toronto’s chances in this series if he has to sit this game out.

Keys to Cavs vs. Raptors Matchup

Things took a turn for the worst in Game 5 when Brandon Ingram exited the game for the Raptors after logging just 11 minutes on the floor. He was a main reason they won Game 4 with 23 points and two blocks as his team struggled down the stretch without him on the floor in Game 5. The Cavs were fueled by Evan Mobley and James Harden each scoring 23 points while veteran Dennis Schroder caught fire late with 11 of his 19 points coming in the fourth quarter. Heading back to Toronto, the Cavs have to be confident in their late-game scoring and the Raptors’ limited options without Brandon Ingram.

It’ll be up to Scottie Barnes as the Raptors’ best player on both ends to will them to a victory. RJ Barrett gave them a chance with 25 points and 12 rebounds in his strongest performance of the series, keeping the Raptors within distance down the stretch. With Ingram usually serving as their late-game clutch option, it’ll either need to be Barrett or Barnes coming up with decisive plays to put them in a position to win at home.

The Cavs have been at their best when Evan Mobley is commanding the paint with his versatile scoring and defensive capabilities. Mobley and Jarrett Allen combined for an emphatic six blocks in Game 5, immediately playing behind a huge advantage without Ingram on the floor. Their chances to close this series on the road grow exponentially when Mobley is able to contribute 20 or more points while making his typical contributions on the defensive end.

Still, home teams have remained perfect throughout this series and the Raptors are bound to make a number of game plan adjustments in the case Ingram is unable to play. Second-year wing Ja’Kobe Walter came up big with 20 points on 6-14 shooting for three, so expect him to have a much more active role in Game 6 as they avoid elimination.

Cavs vs. Raptors Prediction and Pick

While both teams have been able to defend home court throughout this series, everything changes if Brandon Ingram is out of the lineup for the Toronto Raptors. His scoring in late-game situations and contributions rebounding the ball with his size are both integral to the Raptors success, so it’ll be interesting to see if they’re able to fill his shoes behind RJ Barrett and Scottie Barnes serving as the main two catalysts.

I expect the loss of Ingram to be detrimental as it directly correlates to Evan Mobley having an easier defensive matchup and able to focus more on his scoring efforts. Expect a solid scoring outing from Donovan Mitchell as James Harden continues to facilitate for both him and Mobley.

This series has all the potential to still go seven games as the Raptors have been much better at closing out leads at home, but I expect the Cavs’ scoring depth to be too much for Toronto to keep up with. Donovan Mitchell should have one of his better games in the close-out situation as the Cavaliers advance to the semifinals.

Final Cavs-Raptors Game 6 Prediction and Pick: Cleveland Cavaliers -4.5 (-110); OVER 218.5 (-110)
