Bucks’ Brayden Burries earns rave reviews from fans after Summer League performance
The Milwaukee Bucks have yet to win in three games in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, but Brayden Burries has been turning heads with his all-around brilliance.
The Bucks lost to the Phoenix Suns, 95-88, in The Pavilion on Monday. Burries, the 10th overall pick, was one of the few bright spots for Milwaukee. He tallied game-highs of 23 points, six assists, and four steals on top of eight rebounds and one block in 29 minutes.
He impressed many scouts during his stellar run with Arizona in the NCAA Tournament. He helped the Wildcats reach the Final Four for the first time since 1997.

The 20-year-old guard earned rave reviews from fans after his impressive effort against the Suns.
“Brayden Burries might be my favorite rookie to watch right now,” said @isthatsn00p.
“Brayden Burries is going to be such a great two-way guard for a very long time. His game is so smooth. The Bucks got a good one,” wrote @BallBoundIG.
“Brayden Burries is a 6-foot-5 Josh Hart,” claimed @ILLNEVERDYE.
“Brayden Burries might be what we think Darius Acuff is,” added @CoachPete__.
“Brayden Burries might just be the most impressive guard in summer league so far,” declared @RawnTheNotorious.
“Is Brayden Burries’ ceiling actually star level?” asked @ShakBe94.
Burries will compete for a starting spot on the Bucks, but he will likely come off the bench, with Ryan Rollins, Kevin Porter Jr., and Tyler Herro also in the rotation. He could also split minutes with Kasparas Jakucionis and Gary Trent Jr.
With the Bucks in a transition phase, Burries has the chance to cement his status as one of the team’s cogs in the coming years.
