He is also lethal in the boardroom, with a string of successful investments.

KD has just hit his biggest win to date.

Kevin Durant and his business partner, Rich Kleiman, invested in Hugging Face’s seed & Series A fundraising rounds,” Joe Pompliano posted on X.

“Nvidia just acquired the company for $12.9 billion, and since I’m told Durant invested $100,000 in the seed round and $150,000 in the Series A, he likely made more than $60 million on this investment alone.

“That is one of the best athlete investments ever (and more money than Durant will make playing in the NBA this season).”

Durant signed a two-year contract with the Houston Rockets worth $90 million in 2025.

He also has a player option for over $46 million for the 2027-28 season.

If he does decide to play on, the 37-year-old won’t be doing it because the tap ran dry thanks to his entrepreneurial successes.

Durant has invested in over 100 businesses in a varied portfolio that spans fintech, AI, health and wellness, media, and sports technology.

He is known for getting in early on promising ideas and making huge gains, including bets on Coinbase, Postmates, Acorns, and Boardroom.

When he isn’t hooping or making money, KD’s next passion is giving it to trolls online.

“People know if they say something to me I’ll say something back,” he said in a recent interview.

“You’re going to leave this interaction feeling ****** up. Imma hit you in the soul.

“‘I’m way better than you at life, I’ve accomplished what you want to do in life.’

“All type of stuff. You don’t need to talk to me like that. You want to see this side of me.

“Since I was 10 I been talking **** like this. I feel great I can provide them with one of their most core memories of their life.”
