Broadcaster issues apology after Erling Haaland drops X-rated comment during interview
Erling Haaland dropped the F-bomb when waxing lyrical about Bernardo Silva after Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Arsenal.
City took a giant step towards Premier League glory with their triumph at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday in a hugely competitive clash that saw Haaland score the winner.

The Norwegian slotted home his big chance on 65 minutes after Rayan Cherki’s opener was cancelled out by Kai Havertz’s comical equaliser.
But City claimed the three points and with the title race back in their hands as they sit three points behind Arsenal.
However, City have a game in hand, which is against Burnley on Wednesday night live and exclusively on talkSPORT – so can leapfrog Arsenal at the Premier League summit with a win.
Spirits are understandably high in the City camp and Haaland was guilty of getting a little too excited in his post match interview with Sky as the curse word slipped out.
When hailing teammate Silva for winning a header against Arsenal forward Viktor Gyokeres, Haaland send to Silva in front of the cameras: “I remember that cross, I told him after when he headed it out, ‘You were like f****** [Fabio] Cannavaro!'”
Reporter Patrick Davison immediately paused the interview to apologise to viewers and give Haaland a brief telling off for his sweary antics.
Haaland responded: “Come on! We’ve all been swearing in all lives…
“Today, Bernie, I’m not going to make it emotional here, but you were really good, as usual…”
Haaland vs Gabriel
The Norwegian forward was in the thick of the action throughout the game, with his battle against Arsenal defender Gabriel coming to a head.
During a clash late in the game, Gabriel avoided a red card despite jutting his head forward at Haaland when the two players were head-to-head.

On his battle with Gabriel, Haaland said: “I think it’s always like this, a lot of fighting and things like this.
“It’s up to others to decide if I won that battle or not. I scored the goal so I won the battle in that moment, it was a great goal, it was a decisive moment and we win.”
And when asked if Gabriel should’ve been sent off, Haaland responded: “I think if I fell on the floor, which I will not do unless someone really attacks me, it will maybe be a red card. I’m not sure. But it is what it is, I will not fall on the floor.
“Yellow card for me, I’m not sure why, he comes up to my face. But it is what it is.”
