Brentford vs Sunderland prediction
Brentford have won one and drawn another in their opening two games of the Premier League season.
Sunderland on the other hand, lost their opener to Ipswich before winning against Fulham – both teams strongly tipped for having a potentially poor season, including themselves.
Brentford look solid though and they should surely continue their strong form against an unpredictable Sunderland outfit.
Brentford vs Sunderland betting tips
Bees to sting Black Cats
There’s still some concerns with Sunderland this season, they did well last time out against Fulham, but it’s hard to tell yet just how that form translates later in the season if the Whites end up being in a relegation battle or not.
For now, Brentford look to have the firepower and the recent form to suggest they should make it very hard for the Black Cats away from home.
They nearly held Man City to a 1-0 loss, but instead defended valiantly before conceding two goals in the finals few minutes of the game – a lead they’ll unlikely relinquish against the likes of Sunderland.
Player betting
Igor Thiago is yet to unleash his usual scoring prowess that he showed a lot last season to score the 2nd most goals in the league and it wouldn’t be surprising if he managed to get a couple here to silence a few doubters.
Vitaly Janelt and Michael Kayode had the joint-most yellow cards for Brentford in the Premier League last season with eight.
However, Thiago wasn’t far behind with as many as seven, equalled by Yehor Yarmoliuk.
Kevin Schade scored eight goals all of last season but has already netted in two appearances for the Bees.
Brentford were helped to win 3-0 over Spurs this season with two goals, one from each of their full-backs along with a goal and a great performance by Janelt.
