Brazil unleashes incredible scoring barrage on Haiti in World Cup match
Brazil is enjoying a dominant performance in their second match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, jumping out to a strong lead at halftime against Haiti on Friday night.
Going into the contest, Brazil was coming off a 1-1 draw in their group opener against Morocco. They came out of it with one point, needing a win to secure its place in the Round of 32. The squad also needed to perform better on both sides of the ball, having suffered lapses against a team that finished fourth place in the 2022 edition.
Luckily for them, they showcased determination with their aggressive attack against the Haitian defense. Matheus Cunha opened up the scoring in the 23rd minute before securing his brace 13 minutes later.
Vincius Jr., who scored in the group opener against Morocco, joined in on the scoring party. He added a smooth strike near the end of the half to help his country boast a 3-0 lead going into the break.
