Blue Jays’ Jesus Sanchez sounds off on ‘misunderstanding’ with Orioles fan that got him hurt
The Toronto Blue Jays lost one of their key players in the game of their series against the Baltimore Orioles because of an unfortunate situation. Jesus Sanchez was hit in the hand with a ball that a fan threw to him, and he had to leave the game with an injury.
After the game, Sanchez spoke about what happened in the situation.
“It was a misunderstanding. I wasn’t trying to play catch right there with them. I just looked at them and they thought maybe that I wanted them to throw the ball back to me,” Sanchez said.
