Bills news: Fan goes viral for post showing awful obstructed seats at new Highmark Stadium

The Buffalo Bills have been looking forward to moving into new Highmark Stadium for quite some time now. After playing at Ralph Wilson Stadium/old Highmark Stadium since 1973, the Bills were long overdue for a venue upgrade. They are finally moving into their new home ahead of the 2026 season, and Bills players and fans alike got their first look at the new venue during the “Return of the Blue and Red” practice.

Fans packed the stadium for Buffalo’s first live action in Highmark Stadium, and the players had nothing but rave reviews for their new venue. The natural grass playing surface, in particular, is one improvement that players love. However, new Highmark Stadium might not be as perfect as originally believed. A social media post went viral for showing some questionable architectural choices in which fans in certain seats are going to have poor viewing experiences.

Numerous seats are left without a clear view of the football field itself, as they are either behind foundational pieces of the stadium or blocked by safety rails. Fans are now left wondering what were stadium designers thinking.

The Bills will host the Carolina Panthers on Saturday, Aug. 15, in their first preseason matchup of the year. That game will likely play a big part in testing how fans feel about the stadium during live action.
