Detroit Pistons vs Indiana Pacers (7:00pm, EST)

Jalen Duren Over 18.5 Points (-120) at BetMGM Sportsbook

The emergence of Jalen Duren as a viable scorer has played a major role in Detroit’s success this season as the Pistons center is currently averaging 20.5 Points per game while shooting 67.5% from the field.

With Cade Cunningham pulling defensive attention away from the paint when he cuts through the middle, Duren is able to generate uncontested shots near the rim at a high rate.

In a favorable matchup against Indiana, Duren is in a great position to put together another efficient performance as he faces off against a Pacers defense who ranks near dead last in Opposing Effective Field Goal Percentage.

Especially with the Pacers fielding only one big in their starting rotation as Duren will be able to haul in a higher volume of Offensive Rebounds which increases his chances of scoring.

Indiana Pacers Team Total Under 112.5 (-118) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Since the start of the regular season, the Piston’s defense have arguably been one of the more productive units in the league as they currently rank top-2 in Defensive Efficiency.

With Indiana struggling to create space for their shooters due to their lack of facilitation, the Pistons will be able to successfully shift their coverage to cover the shooter for the full duration of the contest and hold the Pacers under their team total.

New York Knicks vs Brooklyn Nets (7:30pm, EST)

Karl-Anthony Towns Over 1.5 Three Pointers Made (-185) at BetMGM Sportsbook

Like the Pacers, the Brooklyn Nets have also been abysmal on defense this season as they currently rank 29th overall in Defensive Efficiency.

While their use of two bigs helps them cover more ground in the interior, it leaves them vulnerable to getting beat from deep as their guards are forced to stretch out their coverage around the perimeter.

The Nets lack of coverage bodes well for Karl-Anthony Towns as he will be able to generate higher quality shot attempts from three when his defensive assignment Nic Claxton is forced to crash down to the interior during Brunson’s drives to the rim.

For some more exposure, escalator bet Towns Three Pointers Made prop by placing smaller wagers on his alternate overs at the best available odds.

Karl-Anthony Towns Under 11.5 Rebounds (-115) at BetMGM Sportsbook

Towns has also been dominant on the boards this season as the Knicks center is currently averaging 12.5 Rebounds per game. Unfortunately for Towns, negative regression looms large as the Nets two big rotation will force Towns to combat against more traffic in the interior which lowers his chances of hauling in a Rebound.

Mitchell Robinson has also started to carve out a role at the five, further eating away at Towns total number of Rebound Opportunities.

Denver Nuggets vs Memphis Grizzlies (8:00pm, EST)

Nikola Jokic to Record a Triple Double (-127) at Caesars Sportsbook

After nearly winning the MVP award last year, Nikola Jokic has quickly picked up from where he left off as the Denver Nuggets star center is averaging 30.4 Points, 13.0 Rebounds, and 10.8 Assists per game.

Jokic has also been efficient from multiple levels of the floor as he is also shooting 41.7% from three and 62.8% from the field.

With Zach Edey anchoring the paint for the Memphis Grizzlies, Jokic will be forced to kick it out at a higher rate which will increase his chances of generating an Assist.

Especially with the Grizzlies struggling to stay in front of the off ball scorer as their defense ranks below league average in Defensive Efficiency and in Opposing True Shooting Percentage.
