In less than a few hours after Friday Night SmackDown, WWE is all set to host Money in the Bank. The PLE is to take place at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. As of now, a total of five matches have been announced for the PLE, including two men's and women's Money in the Bank ladder matches.
On Oct. 10, 2026, WWE Money in the Bank will be available for fans to stream on ESPN in the US and on Netflix in several major international markets. Money in the Bank 2026 is scheduled to begin at 6 PM EST. A post-show will stream immediately after the event concludes.
1. Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed
A few weeks ago, Bronson Reed made his much-awaited WWE return and looked completely unrecognizable. Having shed a lot of weight, Reed is now arguably in the best shape of his career and is more dominant than ever.
While Reed is on a path of destruction, “The Ruler” Oba Femi is enjoying his career's best run. Fresh off his victory over Brock Lesnar and feud against Bron Breakker, Femi is set to clash against Reed at WWE Money in the Bank 2026.
Nevertheless, all the tricks from the Vision won't suffice for Reed to defeat Oba. Femi is expected to overcome them all and get home with the win. However, fans can expect the match to get physical, with a ton of Tsunamis from Reed. Despite all of this, Reed is expected to stand strong and win the match.
Our prediction: Oba Femi def. Bronson Reed.
2. CM Punk vs Kevin Owens vs Bron Breakker vs Trick Williams vs Je'Von Evans vs Penta – Men's Money in the Bank ladder match
The men's WWE Money in the Bank ladder match is a mix of veterans and upcoming young guys. While CM Punk, Penta, and Kevin Owens enter the match with their years of experience, Trick Williams, Bron Breakker, and Je'Von Evans are considerably younger wrestlers. Punk, a former Money in the Bank winner, is not expected to win the match but will come close to several near-win moments.
Both Punk and Owens are in a rivalry with Sami Zayn, Gunther, and Finn Balor, and they are expected to continue that. On the other hand, Williams is the current United States Champion and is not a heavy favorite to win the briefcase, while WWE has not yet built Evans up to become a Money in the Bank winner. The only two proper favorites from this match are Bron Breakker and Penta.
Penta and Roman Reigns delivered an absolute classic match in Mexico, and the two are expected to clash once again later. The Mexican luchador is expected to win the 2026 Money in the Bank and later cash in against Reigns.
Our prediction: Penta wins the Men's Money in the Bank briefcase
3. Tiffany Stratton vs Lash Legend vs Sol Ruca vs Jacy Jayne vs Roxanne Perez vs Lola Vice: Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

While the men's Money in the Bank ladder match consists of a few veterans, the women's ladder match is just filled with the upcoming roster members. All the women in the ladder match are quite young and new to the business.
Tiffany Stratton is a former Money in the Bank winner and is not expected to win it anytime soon, while Jacy Jayne is the current WWE Women's United States Champion. Lola Vice is just weeks into her main-roster debut and is not a favorite to win the briefcase. The only proper favorites from this match are Lash Legend, Sol Ruca, and Roxanne Perez.
However, with Stephanie defending her title against Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan, Perez has automatically emerged as the potential Money in the Bank winner. She is expected to win the briefcase and begin a feud against Liv Morgan, and possibly turn babyface in the process.
Our prediction: Roxanne Perez wins the Women's Money in the Bank briefcase
4. Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan for the WWE Women's World Championship
In a triple threat match, anything can happen. If suppose the above-mentioned does not take place, Roxanne Perez also has another opportunity to have a successful cash-in. Toward the final moments of the triple threat match, Perez can run down the ring and cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase.
The 24-year-old can potentially pin Liv Morgan or Becky Lynch to become the new champion, while WWE can continue protecting Stephanie Vaquer and her reign. Vaquer then begins a feud with Perez, with Morgan and Lynch also joining in. This can mark the beginning of a very complex WWE storyline, helping the promotion move away from its recent streak of simple stories.

5. Roman Reigns (c) vs. LA Knight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Can LA Knight finally beat Roman Reigns and win his first-ever WWE World title? If there was ever a chance, it is now. With The Bloodline now beaten and broken, Knight has the perfect opportunity to defeat Reigns and win the title.
However, it does not look like WWE wants Reigns to lose his title so quickly. With Reigns already advertised for WWE Crown Jewel 2026 in Saudi Arabia, the chances of Knight winning are even lower now.
Despite the hard-fought match, Reigns is expected to come out on top and hand Knight another loss. In the final moments of the match, Royce Keys' 946 is expected to interrupt and cause chaos. Knight is expected to join forces with Reigns and The Bloodline to take out 946. The final moments of the show are expected to lead to the upcoming WWE Survivor Series WarGames.
Our Prediction: Roman Reigns def. LA Knight.
