The Baltimore Ravens got bad news on the injury front ahead of Week 5's Sunday Night Football showdown at Atlanta as Lamar Jackson was listed as out with a left ankle injury. Jackson was joined by pass rusher Trey Hendrickson and offensive lineman Cam Jurgens, the latter of whom impressed Derrick Henry ahead of his Ravens debut.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter revealed the news on his X account. Hendrickson has a broken finger on his right hand and Jurgens has been dealing with a concussion.

Hendrickson had finger surgery recently which caused head coach Jesse Minter to see the silver lining. The former Bengals star broke the finger in several places, leading to questions about whether or not his return should come soon or should be shelved for a later day.

Jurgens is expected to bolster a Ravens offensive line that has been wracked with injuries. Minter revealed his excitement for the Jurgens acquisition, saying it came at a much-needed time.

The Ravens will be forced to turn to backups in Week 5 with a trip to the surging Falcons on deck. The Falcons lit up the Saints for 45 points in their last game and have one of the NFL's best rushing attacks with Bijan Robinson leading the way for Kevin Stefanski's Michael Penix Jr. led offense.

Coach Minter's crew will miss the talented trio and will press forward in hopes of sending the Falcons to 2-3 on the season and moving to 4-1 ahead of their game at Cleveland on October 18.
