Last year, in Dec. 2025, Jake Paul faced off against Anthony Joshua and suffered a broken jaw. After such a brutal jaw injury, Paul had to move away from combat sports and undergo two surgeries. Paul was also suspended from boxing due to the injury's severity.
Now, after a span of several months, Paul has been cleared to return to boxing. Two surgeries later, “The Problem Child” has returned to the gym to begin training for his return. Expected to fight later this year or early next year, Paul has now released a hit list of potential opponents.
Paul has now shared his list of 13 future opponents he wishes to face both in the ring and the cage on social media, as he prepares himself for a possible MMA career. “Before I rest: Canelo Alvarez, Francis Ngannou, Conor McGregor (boxing and MMA), Sean Strickland, Darren Till, Ryan Garcia, KSI, Chris Eubank, Edgar Berlanga, Tom Aspinall (boxing), Deontay Wilder, Nate Diaz (MMA), midget who ruined our fight (Gervonta Davis), world title. Make it happen [Nakisa Bidarian],” Paul wrote on social media.

With no confirmed update on his boxing or MMA comeback, Paul had also recently teased beginning a career in the NFL. An experienced boxer, Paul was recently rumored to go against old rival Tommy Fury. In addition to this recent public spat with Fury, Paul has also been rumored to get in fights with Brock Lesnar and Sean Strickland. However, none of these fights are confirmed.
