After the LSU football team routed Texas A&M on Saturday, 35-6, the program would not leave unscathed as linebacker Whit Weeks exited the game with a leg injury. As Weeks was seen with crutches during LSU's win over the Aggies, the latest injury update does come with a silver lining.
According to insider Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, while Weeks sustained a fractured leg during the aforementioned win against Texas A&M, the “positive” is that it doesn't look season-ending, as there's “optimism” he'll return.
