On Monday night, the Milwaukee Bucks kicked off their preseason for the upcoming campaign with an ugly home loss at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Not many players on the Bucks shot the ball well in this one, including Kyle Kuzma, who finished with a single point on 0-6 shooting from the field.

Bucks fans are quickly growing tired of Kuzma's struggles, which have continued during seemingly his entire tenure with the franchise, and instead of hitting the gym, Kuzma opted to hit social media to fire back at those criticisms.

“It’s pre season calm down lol,” he wrote in response to a post criticizing him on X, formerly Twitter.

Needless to say, fans in the comment section were not thrilled with the reply.

“Fam you be doin this in the regular season too what’s ur point,” wrote one fan.

“Brother you can’t even score when everyone else on the court is at like 50% effort i am literally begging you to retire,” wrote another.

Kuzma struggled to put the ball in the basket throughout last season for the Bucks, often finding himself outside of then-head coach Doc Rivers' rotation altogether, despite the frequent injuries the team dealt with.

Now, the team will be coached by Taylor Jenkins, and with Giannis Antetokounmpo no longer in the picture, Kuzma seems poised for more consistent touches this year, and he'll certainly want to do a better job with them than what he displayed on Monday night.

In any case, the Bucks are set to kick off their regular season on October 21 on the road vs Kuzma's former team, the Washington Wizards.
