With the No. 7 Ole Miss football team taking on the No. 19 Texas Longhorns on Saturday night, it will be another opportunity for quarterback Trinidad Chambliss to show he's one of the better players in his position in the country. As the Ole Miss football quarterback in Chambliss looks to even impress NFL scouts, this former player has given him the label of the best signal-caller in the nation.

If there is a player that could recognize greatness, it is Charles Woodson, who won the Heisman Trophy with the Michigan Wolverines in 1997 and went on to have a Hall of Fame NFL career. Speaking on Big Noon Kickoff on Fox Sports, Woodson would give his prediction for Saturday's contest with the Rebels taking on the Longhorns, saying that Chambliss is the “best quarterback in college football.”

Woodson would even give him a nickname, calling him a “magician.”

“This team has the best quarterback in college football, in my opinion. I'm going with Ole Miss and Trinidad Chambliss. All this team does is beat top, great teams. Trinidad Chambliss is one of the best in the game. I call him Trinidad the Magician. Nobody moves around the pocket the way he does. Nobody layers throws the way he does,” Woodson said.

So far this season for the Ole Miss football program, Chambliss has thrown for 1,676 yards to go along with 14 touchdowns and four interceptions, plus 127 rushing yards and six scores on the ground. At any rate, Chambliss looks to reinforce Woodson's opinion as he looks to lead the Rebels to a 6-1 total record this season after a potential win over Texas on Saturday night.
