Pat McAfee picked Houston football to upset unbeaten Utah on Saturday, backing the Cougars in front of a campus crowd and former Utes tight end Dalton Kincaid.

The former NFL punter and ESPN personality backed the visiting Cougars during College GameDay’s broadcast from Presidents Circle on Utah’s campus in Salt Lake City. Buffalo Bills tight end and former Utah standout Dalton Kincaid joined the panel as its guest picker.

No. 14 Houston enters the Big 12 matchup at 6-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play, while No. 10 Utah is 6-0 and 3-0.

McAfee shared the clip Saturday on X, formerly Twitter, explaining his pick while questioning the Utes’ schedule.

“It's hard to pick against this mighty Utah student section, but I do it 10 times out of 10. Give me Houston coming out of here with a big time dub and proving that Utah hasn't had to play anybody yet.”
