The San Francisco 49ers held on to their undefeated 6-0 record with a 23-17 Week 6 win over the Washington Commanders. While it was a big win for the franchise, linebacker Fred Warner left that contest with not one, but two separate fines.

Warner was fined a total of $65,673, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network. The 29-year-old was fined $17,911 for a hit on Commanders tight end Chig Okonkwo that led to a flag being thrown that was eventually picked up. Later in the game, Warner was fined another $47,762 for using his helmet on another hit on Okonkwo.

“49ers LB Fred Warner was fined $65,673 for two instances against the Commanders — $17,911 for a hit on TE Chig Okonkwo (flag was thrown then picked up, with ESPN broadcast saying it should’ve stayed a penalty) and $47,762 for use of the helmet here that wasn’t flagged.”
