Class of 2027 three-star running back Jordan Hall has committed to Penn State, On3's Hayes Fawcett reported Saturday evening. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native chose the Nittany Lions over Ohio State and Missouri, giving head coach Matt Campbell another promising addition to his recruiting class.
Hall previously pledged to Miami (Ohio) after receiving an offer from the RedHawks in May. However, interest from Power Four programs increased following his performances at Princeton High School, leading him to reopen his recruitment. Penn State extended its offer on August 21, while the Buckeyes and Tigers entered the picture with offers on September 5 and September 16, respectively.
Hall visited the Nittany Lions twice during the fall, including an appearance in Happy Valley for Penn State's White Out game. He also made two visits to Ohio State. Campbell attended Hall's high school game on Friday night before the prospect finalized his decision the following day.
The 5-foot-11, 197-pound tailback has amassed 1,179 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns during his senior season. The standout production follows a junior campaign at La Salle that was largely derailed by an injury before he transferred to Princeton.
Hall also demonstrated his athletic ability at the Under Armour camp in Columbus, earning positional MVP honors. He recorded a 4.43-second 40-yard dash, a 4.12-second shuttle, a 9-foot-1-inch broad jump and a 30.4-inch vertical jump. He also clocked 10.72 seconds in the 100-meter event.

He becomes the Nittany Lions' second running back commitment for 2027, joining fellow three-star prospect Chukwuma Odoh. His addition brings Penn State's total commitments in the class to 22. Hall is the program's first commitment since three-star quarterback Will Wood flipped to Boston College following the Nittany Lions' Week 7 loss to Michigan.
