Arsenal v Wigan betting offer: Bet £10 and get £40 in free bets with Boyle Sports
Attention turns to the FA Cup as Arsenal entertain League One Wigan Athletic at the Emirates stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Boyle Sports are offering new customers £40 in free bets to those who place a £10 bet on any of this season’s football, an offer which can be claimed by following this link*.
Arsenal will press pause on their pursuit of the Premier League title, to turn attentions to the FA Cup, a competition they have won a record 14 times.
Their opponents Wigan Athletic, who they met in the semi finals of this competition on the way to winning in 2014, are currently mired in the League One relegation zone.
The Gunners, who are still very much alive on all four fronts this season, haven’t got past this round of the competition since winning the trophy in 2020. A statistic that manager Mikel Arteta will insist on changing this time round.
Since their victory over Portsmouth in the third round, injury has struck to both Mikel Merino and Kai Havertz. But this should allow the likes of Eberechi Eze, Christian Norgaard and Noni Madueke to pick up more crucial minutes.
Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard may be rested and captain Martin Odegaard could continue his return from injury with valuable playing time too.
Wigan have beaten Hemel Hempstead, Barrow and Preston on the way to the fourth round. But after suffering four successive league defeats going into the weekend’s fixture, the club sacked manager Ryan Lowe earlier this week.
It should mean interim bosses Glenn Whelan and Graham Barrow will be in the away dugout on Sunday attempting to steady the ship.
Wigan’s Fraser Murray has been their standout with nine goal contributions so far this season.
But even if Arteta shuffles the pack with the North London derby on the horizon, Arsenal should be far too strong for their third tier opponents.
