Arsenal issue statement as friendly against Real Betis delayed
Kick-off for Arsenal’s pre-season friendly against Real Betis has been delayed by 15 minutes.
The match, being staged at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, will commence at 7:45pm UK and local time having initially being billed for a 7:30pm start.

However, traffic issues being experienced by the Spanish side has led to kick-off being pushed back.
“Tonight’s game will now kick-off at 7.45pm (UK) due to Real Betis being delayed by traffic,” Arsenal said in a statement at 6:48pm on Wednesday.

A number of high-profile Gunners players will get a run out with Kai Havertz, Viktor Gyokeres, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Riccardo Calafiori, Ben White and Piero Hincapie among the starters.
There’s a start for Greek winger Kristos Tzolis and new goalkeeper Illan Meslier makes it to the bench.
Meanwhile, key defender Gabriel, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli are also on the 17-man strong bench.
