The Indiana Fever continue their current road trip as they visit the Portland Fire on Friday, and both Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston appeared on the team’s injury report. Clark has been managing a back injury while Boston has nursed a leg injury. Both players were officially listed as probable. Here’s everything we know about Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston’s injury, and their playing status for the Fever’s game against the Fire.
Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston injury status vs. Fire
Considering both Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston are listed as probable on the Fever’s injury report, the assumption is that both players will suit up on Friday. Clark has missed a total of four games this season, and has been on a minutes restriction in others, while she navigates the back issue. She has not missed a game though since June 27. In her last game against the Seattle Storm, she had 32 points, four rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one blocked shot.
Boston, on the other hand, sustained her leg injury after a hard fall during the Fever’s most recent win against the Storm. She exited the game and did not return for the second half. Her status as probable is a good sign for the Fever that she did not suffer anything serious. She finished that game with 11 points, two rebounds and one assist in 11 minutes.
